Awamaki COVID Precautions
We are working to keep our artisan partners and our visitors safe.
Our tours are held outdoors or in open-air shelters and were before the pandemic too.
We require the use of masks at all times during the tours.
Weaving classes will be held in an outdoor space, keeping a distance of at least 2 meters between teacher and student.
Tour Itinerary
*2:00pm - Meet at La Esquina in the main plaza of Ollantaytambo and walk to the Awamaki Office.
2:30 - Our partner artisans will begin demonstrating natural dyes, spinning of natural wool and the weaving process.
3:15 - 4:30- Free time for the passenger(s) to ask questions, get to know the work and the artisan, and make purchases if they choose.
