Tour Itinerary
*09:00 - Meet the Awamaki guide at La Esquina Cafe in the main plaza of Ollantaytambo and walk to the Awamaki Fair Trade Store.
09:15 - Our partner artisans will greet you and introduce themselves as well as their work with traditional fiber arts.
9:30-10:30 - The artisans will share their knowledge and demonstrate their uses of natural fibers, natural dyes, and the wool spinning and weaving processes.
10:30-11:30 - Visitors will have the opportunity to try the weaving process for themselves and will have time to ask questions and get to know the work and the artisans. Visitors may also participate in a private textile sale offered by the tour's host artisans.
